Aikyashree Scholarship Renewal 2023Â Aikyashree Scholarship Program comes under WBMDFC (West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation), which aims to support deserving students (at both school and college levels) of West Bengal. Aikyashree Scholarship Program is operated by the Government of West Bengal and its supporting boards, to provide financial assistance to exemplary, deserving, and poor students of the state to help them continue their higher education.

How to Apply?
If you think to apply for the Aikyashree Scholarship, you must first complete the following steps:
- To get started, visit the official website of West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation.
- The main page will open.
- Click on New Registration on the webpage.
- Now you will reach a new page where you will have to select your district.
- After this, an application form will appear in front of you.
- In this application form, you have to fill in all the necessary information, such as your state, district, block, name, father's name, mother's name, gender, religion, date of birth, mobile number, savings account number, IFS code, etc.
- Now you have to click on submit and continue.
- Then you have to upload all the relevant documents.
- Now you have to press the submit button.
- You can apply for the Aikyashree Scholarship by following this approach.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are types of Aikyasri scholarships. Students have to apply for the scholarship as per their education level.
West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST Students)
- You should be a native of West Bengal.
- You must be a student of class 9 or 10.
- Your category is SC or ST.
- Your family's annual income is below Rs. 2 lakh.
West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship
- You should be a native of West Bengal.
- You must belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category.
- Students eligible to apply for this scholarship are those who are studying in classes 11, 12, graduation, or post-graduation.
- Your family's annual income is below Rs 1 lakh for OBC 2 lakh for SC and Rs. 2.5 lakh for ST category students.
Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal
- You should be a native of West Bengal.
- You must be female.
- Candidates must have passed the 12th class from any board.
- The student must be interested in pursuing education in the field of engineering, medicine, or basic sciences in a renowned institution in West Bengal.
Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM)
- You should be a native of West Bengal.
- You should be studying in class 11 or 12.
Or
- If students are not studying normal undergraduate or postgraduate level degree courses, they must be pursuing graduation in engineering, medical, and technical/professional courses.
- If the student is studying at the higher secondary level or pursuing a diploma, he/she must have obtained at least 75% marks in class 10th.
- If the student is studying at graduation level, he/she must have obtained at least 75% marks in class 12th.
- Your family's annual income is below Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Scholarships will be sanctioned to eligible students based on merit-cum-means criteria.
- Students doing M.Phil. courses and doctoral courses from state-aided institutions are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal
- You should be a native of West Bengal.
- You must belong to a non-Hindi-speaking state.
- You must have passed any one of the following degree courses â Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation, PG, or any equivalent degree course.
- You must have obtained at least 60% marks in the first qualifying examination, first trial, with Hindi as one of the subjects.Â
