Washington, D.C., there is a private research institution called The American Institution. American university emerging global leader scholarship helps many students who want to complete their studies. The majority of its 90-acre main campus is located in Northwest Washington, D.C.'s Spring Valley neighborhood on  Ward Circle. John Fletcher Hurst, a Methodist bishop, pushed for the establishment of AU by advocating for its chartering through a congressional act in 1893. Hurst wanted to establish an organization that would encourage civic service, internationalism, and realistic idealism. AU began construction in 1902,  launched as a graduate school in 1914, and welcomed its first freshmen in 1925. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for admittance, despite being associated with the United Methodist Church. The  Washington College of Law, the Kogod School of Business, the School of Communication, the  Professional Studies and Executive Education, the School of Public Affairs, the School of Education, and the School of International Service are the eight schools and colleges that makeup American University.  It offers more than 160 programs, including JD, LLM, and SJD programs, 71 bachelor's degrees, 87  master's degrees, and 10 doctorate degrees. Over 13,000 students attend AU, representing all 50 U.S.  states as well as 141 other nations; about a fifth of the student body is foreign. It is categorized as one of the "R2: Doctoral Universities - High Research Activity" institutions.you can apply for University of Twente scholarship fully funded
