Army ROTC Scholarship:

The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a program focused on training and developing leadership skills among full-time college students. It prepares them for opportunities to serve in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force. The Coast Guard also offers a similar program called the College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative (CSPI). Enrollment in ROTC provides a pathway to professional skill development, scholarship opportunities, and tuition assistance. Upon completion of the program, students can attain the rank of officer. Currently, more than 1,700 colleges and universities offer ROTC programs.

Army ROTC Scholarship Requirements

Here, we are showing the Standard Requirements to be accepted for any ROTC Scholarship:

• You must be a citizen of the United States.
• You should be at least 17 years and under 31 in the year of commissioning.
• You also have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• If you are in high school when you apply, you must have a high school GPA of at least 2.50, unweighted.
• You should have taken the SAT or ACT.
• You must take the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT).
• You must meet the physical height and weight requirements.
• You should agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard.

Army ROTC Scholarship Deadline

Now, we are talking about the Army ROTC scholarship application deadline and also important dates you should know, applications opened on June 12, 2023. Your application must begin no later than March 4, 2024, to be eligible for review by Army ROTC. National Scholarship Board. Here are the application summited dates and board review dates for the 2024-2025 school year:

• Applications are to be submitted by October 9, 2023, and will be reviewed by the Board from October 16-20, 2023.
• Applications are to be submitted by January 15, 2024 and will be reviewed by the board from January 22-26, 2024.
• Applications are to be submitted by March 11, 2024 and will be reviewed by the Board from March 18-22, 2024.

Army ROTC Scholarship Acceptance Rate

We know many scholars don't know the acceptance rate for Army ROTC scholarship, so you should read this paragraph, all college scholarships including ROTC scholarship can be very competitive.

Of the 9,300 high school students who applied in the year 2021, 2,500 were awarded Army ROTC scholarships. Of these winners, 25% received four-year Army ROTC National Scholarships, while the rest were awarded three-year scholarships.
