Chulalongkorn University Scholarship For International Students

Chulalongkorn University Scholarship 2024-2025 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. These scholarships are only for postgraduate and Ph.D. Are provided for. This scholarship covers 100% tuition fees and a monthly stipend in the amount of 16,000 baht and accommodation.

Chulalongkorn University has taken a leading role in implementing interactive collaboration with the international community. To further develop academic cooperation between Thailand and foreign countries.

The university has established the "Graduate Scholarship Program for ASEAN or Non-ASEAN Countries" to provide financial assistance to international students who wish to pursue graduate studies at Chulalongkorn University.

Some conditions For Chulalongkorn University Scholarship For International Students:

• The duration of the scholarship cannot be extended
• Scholarship recipients are not permitted to defer the period of scholarship acceptance after the scholarship has been awarded by the University.
• Recipients are not permitted to accept any off-campus employment in Thailand during the period of the scholarship.

Scholarship Coverage

The Bangkok Government Scholarship provides the following benefits to the recipient:

• Tuition Fees (Fees/special fees charged by the faculty or program of students' choice are excluded. Advanced arrangements are required between students and the faculty/program).
• Monthly stipend of 16,000 baht and accommodation.
• The airfare for each leg should not exceed 20,000 baht for students from African countries and 12,000 baht for students from Asian countries. (Students must pay for their ticket and this amount will be reimbursed upon their arrival at Chulalongkorn University.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Chulalongkorn University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Required Language: English
• Eligible Countries: All Countries in the World
• It should be noted that students from ASEAN or non-ASEAN countries who are studying for more than one semester in any program at Chulalongkorn University are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
• Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 2.75 for their undergraduate studies and at least 3.25 for their graduate studies.
• A minimum TOEFL score of 500 or 173 computer-based and an IELTS score of 5.0 is required.
• The age of the applicant should not be more than 35 years.
• Faculty members researchers and academic materials who will return to teach/work in their home universities after graduating from Chulalongkorn University will be given priority.

• Applicants must send the completed application form and relevant documents directly to the Faculty/Programme of their choice before the deadline prescribed by the Office of Academic Affairs of the University.
• Applicants must be screened and admitted by the faculty/program of their choice before their names are submitted to the Academic Affairs Office of Chulalongkorn University.
• All relevant application documents which have been checked by the Faculty/Programme should reach the Office of Academic Affairs before the deadline.

Documents Required For Chulalongkorn University Scholarships?

• Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in a field related to the field for which they are applying. A degree certificate must be submitted with their application.
• An academic transcript issued by the last academic institution that the applicant attended. An official academic transcript must be submitted with their application.
• A completed application form with a 1-inch photograph is attached.
• CV / Resume
• Valid passport
• Recommendation letter/Reference Letter: Two letters of recommendation from the head, the director or the dean of the institution of the applicant’s affiliation or from the applicant’s superiors.
• Medical report: A medical certificate confirming a physical examination in a hospital in the applicant’s home country.
