• The scholarship is renewed each year as long as the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.

Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship 2024 Acceptance Rate

Merit-based scholarship awards will be offered to approximately 1% of the entire new applicant pool. The number of merit scholarships is limited, as most of Vanderbilt's student financial aid is awarded in the form of need-based financial aid.

All applicants applying for merit-based scholarships by the December 1 deadline will be considered whether or not test scores are submitted.
