2. Your employer applies for your Work Permit while you are still in your own country

4. You undergo a medical exam on behalf of your employer, who applies on your behalf for a Residence Card from the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). The permit is valid for 60 days, so they need to do this within that time period.
5. It is your employer's responsibility to obtain a Labour Card and Emirates ID Card for you.
