The Erasmus Mundus scholarship program only allows the student to stay for duration equivalent to one European academic cycle. Your study period abroad can minimally be of 3 months, and go as long as 12 months—within one academic cycle.
Cycle refers to the degree level—first cycle is bachelor’s degree, second is masters, and so the third is doctorate. For complex courses such as medicine or architecture, you can stay as long as 24 months for one cycle.

For the application, no work experience is required. A person should at least be of 16 years of age—with no maximum age restrictions—and must be eligible to enroll in at least bachelor’s degree.
Once you learn your admission process and fill out the form, you will need to provide a bunch of relevant documents and probably a bit of application fees. After that, you would only have to wait for results.
