DAAD Scholarships in Germany

Daad scholarships in Germany are fully funded scholarships. These scholarships are offered at the Post Graduate level. People selected through these scholarships will carry out their Postgraduate studies in the state of Germany.

These scholarships provide the selected candidate’s many benefits. These include the tuition fee, travel costs as well as a monthly stipend. In some cases, a stipend for family members may also be provided by daad.

DAAD Scholarships in Germany:

These scholarships are offered for almost all fields of study. This includes engineering, sciences, medicine, and public health. Scholarships for urban and regional planning, economics and agricultural and forest sciences are also provided.

Criteria of Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree of normally 4 years.
  2. Applicant’s degree must be related to the field they are applying for the scholarships in Germany.
  3. The applicant’s degree should not be more than 6 years old.
  4. People who have been living in Germany for 15 months or more by the deadline time can NOT apply for this scholarship.
  5. Applicants will first apply to the host university and then for DAAD scholarships in Germany.

  • Vocational education and personal capacity management
  • International media studies

Deadlines:

  • Intellectual property and competition law: 15th October 2020
  • Education Management: 1st January 2020
  • Vocational education and personal capacity management 30th September 2020
  • International media studies: 31st march 2021

Scholarship provides:

  • Scholarship worth 850 euros per month
  • Travel costs
  • Allowance for study (one time)
  • Health, accident and personal coverage

Application Process:

Applicants will first have to visit the website of the Host Institute that they want to apply in. they will then apply to the university program and after they get the acceptance letter they can apply for Daad German scholarships.
