At Radcliffe, fellowships provide an opportunity to take a break from the usual routines and focus on a specific project. In addition to developing new tools and methods, Radcliffe fellows are able to challenge artistic and scholarly conventions as well as illuminate our past and our present by utilizing Harvard’s unparalleled resources.

About Harvard Radcliffe Institute Fellowship:

Each fellow convenes regularly to discuss his or her progress throughout the year. The group challenges each other’s ideas and supports each other’s ambitions, coming from different disciplines and perspectives. There are many professionals who say this is their best professional year.

During the academic year, 50 fellowships are awarded through the Radcliffe Fellowship Program. It is possible to apply individually or in groups of two to three people working on the same project. Diverse perspectives could come from different disciplines, career stages, races and ethnicities, countries of origin, genders, sexual orientations, and ideologies. Despite their diverse backgrounds, their fellows demonstrate excellence, collegiality, and creativity.
