Eligibility criteria for the ILO paid internship program 2020:

  • Applicants must have good command over the English language
  • Applicants should be enrolled in the final year of a post-graduate-level degree program (such as Masters)
  • Applicants should be studying in a relevant field of studies such as gender studies, mass communication, international relations, media, development or related fields.
  • Applicants should have great skills in Microsoft Office
  • They should possess good social media skills
  • Should have good reading, writing and proofreading skills
  • Applicants should have video editing skills
  • Should have an interest in gender equality and human rights
  • Should have at least intermediate level skills in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience of working in related fields will be a plus


  • A stipend worth 550 USD will be given to the interns in Bangkok by ILO.
  • If a candidate is receiving funding from any other institution, then ILO will only cover the difference to make sure you get a total of 550 USD.
