Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023

Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a collaborative CSR project of Kotak Mahindra group of companies and the Kotak Education Foundation to promote education and livelihood among the economically disadvantaged sections of society. This scholarship's main objective is to provide financial assistance to meritorious female students from low-income families to empower them to pursue higher studies in the field of vocational education after class 12th.

Eligibility For Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023

• This scholarship is applicable to Indian girls only.
• Students seeking admission to the first year of undergraduate courses in institutions approved by NAAC NBA or UGC for professional specialization such as engineering, design, architecture, specialized commerce, medicine, finance, and computer courses or other professional courses pursued along with graduation get admission.  Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Chartered Financial Analyst, Cost and Works Accountancy, Bachelor of Law or LLB.
• Applicants must have obtained 75% marks or more or equivalent cumulative grade point average or CGPA in Class 12 board examinations.
• The annual income of the candidate's family from all sources should not exceed Rs 3 lakh.
• Children of those working in Kotak Mahindra Group Kotak Education Foundation or Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Apply For Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023

• First of all, visit the official scholarship page.
• You will read all the points carefully and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective category of scholarship.
• Login to Buddy4Study using a registered ID to access the 'Online Application Form Page'.
• If not registered – Register with your email/mobile number/Gmail account.
• You will now be redirected to the 'Kotak Girls Scholarship 2023' application form page.
• Click on the 'Start Application' button to start the application process.
• Fill in the required information in the online application form.
• Upload required documents.
• Accept the 'Terms and Conditions' and click 'Preview'.
• If all the information filled in by the applicant is visible correctly on the preview screen, click on the 'Submit' button to complete the application process.

Amount For Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023

The amount provided to the recipient shall not exceed Rs. 1 lakh for one session. Candidates can use the scholarship amount for the following purposes:

• Institutional educational expenses, including tuition fees.
• Hostel charges are applicable only to accommodation which is the campus of the institute.
• Internet facility to get an education.
• A laptop or any other device is required for educational purposes only.
• Books were prescribed during the study.
• Stationary expenses.

Documents For Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023

• Mark sheet of previous qualifying examination (Class 12)
• Income proof of parents/guardians
• ITR of parents for FY 2022-23 (if available)
• Fee structure (for academic year 2023-24)
• Bonafide student certificate/letter from college
• College seat allocation document
• College Entrance Examination Scorecard
• Aadhaar card
• Bank passbook
• A passport-size photograph
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Death certificate of parent (for single parent/orphan candidates) 

Selection Process

• Initial shortlisting of applicants will be based on educational qualifications and financial background.
• Top performing (girls) students will appear for two (2) rounds of interviews.
• The final selection and award of scholarships will be at the discretion of the Kotak Education Foundation.
