Now, talking about the Maybank Group Scholarship Programme 2023, Providing scholarships to deserving Malaysian students to pursue their tertiary education has been a key feature of Maybank's CSR efforts since 1972.

According to us, to date, approximately 2,000 Malaysian students have been satisfied with this program. They have been given access to good quality undergraduate education in various subjects applicable to banking and finance from some of the best top-tier universities in the world. Starting in 2019, the Maybank Group Scholarship Program will be available in countries where Maybank has a significant local presence and full banking services in Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Full scholarships are awarded to selected students with high potential in academic and extra-curricular activities as well as excellent leadership qualities, who are sponsored to study at top-tier universities in Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

This scholarship will cover the full cost of your tuition fees, enrollment fees, and related expenses including books, accommodation, and living allowances.

Scholarship Package

Eligibility Criteria

If you want to go to the Maybank Group Scholarship Programme To be eligible you applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• For Local Study in Malaysia

•  University Malaya (UM)
•  Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
•  Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
•  University Technology Mara (UiTM)
•  International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)
•  Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)
•  Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)
•  University Utara Malaysia (UUM)
•  Universiti Malaysia Perlis (Unimap)
•  University Malaysia Pahang (UMP)

• For Overseas Study

Total gross household income not exceeding RM180,000 per year Currently enrolled in a Foundation Programme, and accepted (letter of admission or conditional letter offer) to pursue a full-time degree at selected top-tier universities in the UK, USA, or Australia Not over 21 years of age Foundation studies in the following program:

• UK: A-levels
• USA: American Degree Program
• Australia: South Australian Matriculation/South Australian Certificate of Education
• International Baccalaureate

Maybank Student Ambassador Program (#Mbassador) 2024 Boot camps and team-building activities community-based education

To provide work-life experience and prepare scholars for careers within the Maybank Group.

Scholars are tied with the bank and the scholarship provides employment opportunities immediately after graduation.
