The candidate must be a resident of West Bengal.
For 12th Level: The scholars can pursue their studies in any institution within the state after completing the State Board/Council of Secondary Education or a state-aided university in West Bengal. They should have scored a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate in the 10th examination.
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in their 12th standard examination.
Candidates should have achieved a minimum of 55% marks in their graduation.
The candidate should not have received any central/state scholarship or stipend for the same course or at the same stage of study during the previous year at the time of application.
The annual family income should be less than Rs. 60,000.
