In response to the UK Government’s announcements with regards to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have decided to cancel our summer research internship programme for 2020.

This paid internship at Cardiff University UK is being offered under their summer research internship program. Usually, the duration of these internships is between 4 to 8 weeks i.e. 1 or 2 months. However, the time can be changed based on the agreement between the intern and Cardiff University. These internships are offered by the Cardiff University School of Physics and Astronomy. This is a paid research internship where students will carry out research under mentors.

  • Selected interns will be carrying out research on one of the following or a related topic:
  • Strong field tests of gravity
  • The development of techniques for detecting gravitational waves from supernovae or from the inspiral of neutron-star and black-hole binaries.
  • Modeling binary black hole orbits and their gravitational wave emission
