The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides a number of Romania scholarships to citizens of non-EU countries each year. Applicants must have good academic results, or an average of the study years, for the last university graduation, of at least 7 (seven) points, corresponding to the Romanian system, or a "Good" score, depending on the school.

Applications are now invited for Romania scholarships offered by the Government of Romania and the ministry of foreign affairs. These scholarships are offered to people who belong to countries that are NOT a part of the EU – European Union.

The Romania scholarships 2023 are offering Fully funded scholarships at three different levels of education, namely at the Bachelor’s, Master's, and Doctoral levels.

About Romania Scholarships Program

Medical, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy are the only fields in which applicants cannot select their study program of interest. Only Romanian language programs are available for the Bachelor and Master's degrees, promoting Romanian culture and language. This is an amazing opportunity for International students. The doctoral school may offer programs in English or a foreign language to applicants at the Ph.D. level. Students without Romanian language skills can also take a preparatory Romanian language year prior to enrolling in the chosen study program. • Stipend for financial support which depends on the level of study and is as follows:
• Stipend for Undergraduate level: 65 Euro/month
• Stipend for master’s level: 75 euro/month
• Stipend for doctorate degree level: 85 euro/month
• Note: International flight/transport, local transport, and food costs are not covered in the Romania scholarship.

Duration of Romania Scholarships:

The duration of this scholarship offered in Romania is different for the different levels of study.

1. For Undergraduate: between 3 -6 years
2. For Masters: between 1.5 – 2 years
3. For Doctoral studies: between 3 -4 years

It is important to note that the language of the studies will be Romanian. Candidates who do not understand the language will be offered a one-year course to prepare them for it.

Eligibility criteria of Romania Scholarships:

1. 1. Romanian citizens can NOT apply for the Romania Scholarships.
   2. Applicants must belong to a country that is NOT a part of the European Union
   3. Age limit:
      • For Undergraduate: maximum 35 years
      • For the Master’s level: maximum of 35 years
      • For Doctorate Level: maximum of 45 years

Documents required for the application:

• CV
• An official letter issued by the diplomatic mission of the applicant’s country
• Both the form 1 and 2 filled
• Legalized copy of academic documents
• Legalized copy of the birth certificate
• Photocopy of the first 3 passport pages
• Recent photographs
• A medical certificate
