Applications are now open for Saint Mary’s University – President Scholarships for the academic year 2020 to 2021 for domestic students who hold a Canadian nationality to undertake undergraduate studies in the fields of English, history, law, psychology, biology, education, general studies, liberal studies and social justice in Canada by Saint Mary’s University.

It is a partially funded scholarship scheme where you need an 80% or higher average in your most important academic subjects of grade 11 and grade 12 to attain it. This is solely a merit scholar and will be awarded by the universities itself.

About Saint Mary’s University Scholarships:

The amounts of the scholarships vary in tuition and fees, half the value if fall term and half the value I’d winter term. The amount will directly be handled by the university. In case of external sources funding the university’s scholarship pertinent information about the student who has been awarded a scholarship or a student award.

Students in receipt of university’s awards have to maintain their registration in nine credit hours per term and a minimum GPA of 2.0. The university assumes liability for the payment of awards to the extent the gifts for donors or returns to the particular investment for these purposes will permit.

  1. For 90% or higher: $1900 if registered in 3 courses per term – $2200 if registered in 4 courses per term – $2500 if registered in 5 courses per term
  2. For 85% to 89.9%: $1250 if registered in 3 courses per term – $1500 if registered in 4 courses per term – $1750 if registered in 5 courses per term
  3. For 80% to 84.9%: $500 if registered in 3 courses per term – $750 if registered in 4 courses per term – $1000 if registered in 5 courses per term
