It scores better than other Australian institutions in terms of employer and academic reputation, but behind UNSW in terms of job outcomes. Students can anticipate a highly multinational campus climate, as is the case with many Australian universities. A vibrant student body of almost 65,000, including 30,000 international students from more than 130 nations, is supported by more than 8,000 academic and professional staff members.

UNSW, University of New South Wales, Australia

Of all Australian universities, the University of New South Wales has the greatest global research network score; the only institution that beats it in terms of research citations is the University of Western Australia. The institution not only places a strong emphasis on research but also provides its students with excellent employment prospects. Among Sydney-based and Go8 universities, UNSW graduates had the third-highest rate of full-time employment and the highest wages.

ANU, the Australian National University

ANU, once recognized as the top university in Australia, now holds the fourth spot. There are campuses in New South Wales and the Northern Territory in addition to the main campus in Acton, Canberra. This year, the sustainability and employer reputation rankings are higher for each of the three universities above ANU. Read also: Graduate Scholarships in Qatar: Complete

College of Sydney

The next two institutions are tied for second-best in Australia because they are both among the top 20 universities in the world and share a rank of equal 19. The earliest of these, the University of Sydney, was established in 1850 as Australia's first academic institution and is also a part of the Group of Eight, which includes Australia's eight most highly regarded research institutions.
