Why TFAS Exchange Program?
TFAS Exchange Program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to broaden your perspective and gain valuable insights into the political and economic necessities of a free society. By participating in this program, you’ll have the chance to engage with like-minded young leaders from different countries and learn from top experts in the field.

The program’s academic goal is to engage students in a thorough and philosophical examination of government and economics. The curriculum is divided into two course components, which explore the theories, structures, and principles governing the American system of constitutional government and the structure and functions of a market economy. Participants will receive 6 ECTS credit hours from UANDES upon successful completion of the program.
In addition to academic lectures, participants will have the opportunity to explore Santiago’s vibrant culture through various events, including a tour of Santiago, cultural presentations, a Chilean asado, and a trip to Valparaiso. Participants will reside at the Hotel Diego de Velazquez in the Providencia neighborhood of Santiago and will have access to public transportation to explore the city.
Criteria and Requirements:
To be eligible for the TFAS International Exchange Program, applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students who are interested in economics, political philosophy, and institutional governance. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old and must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Scholarship opportunities are available to eligible candidates who meet the criteria.
How to Apply?
To apply for the TFAS International Exchange Program, applicants must submit a completed Application Form, a resume, a transcript, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation. TFAS Exchange application will start from 1st June 2023.
The application deadline is August 30, 2023. Scholarship decisions will be announced on 2nd October 2023.
