The Hatfield lioness scholarship aims to provide females from a background as such that her tertiary education cannot be afforded, a chance to prove themselves by meeting the academic and personal qualifications and using them to benefit her and her home country when she is to return. She will also get a chance to act as a positive ambassador of her home country at Durham University.

The Hatfield lioness scholarship has been set up to celebrate 30 years of women students at the Hatfield college. It is a fully-funded scholarship that offers a master’s degree in every subject except MBA. The Hatfield lioness Scholarship is funded by alumni, friends of the college and other supporters of the scholarship.
