The University of Bedfordshire Scholarship offers the following ones:

1. Merit Scholarship and Bursary:

  • Program Level: Undergraduate
  • Enrollment Date: February, September 2020
  • Value: Will be determined on performance, £2,400 for 112 UCAS tariff points
  • Bursary: (for students below 112 UCAS tariff points) £1,500
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Nationality: UK/EU

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a full time undergraduate enrolled in Bachelors course BA, BEng, LLB or similar
  • Be a new student from September 2020 for the academic year 2020/21
  • Must not have previously enrolled at the university
  • Must be a UK/EU student paying £9,250 of tuition fee
  • Must have completed all stages of financial processes that the sponsors might require
  • Cannot be an overseas or equivalent level fee payer
  • Cannot be studying with a university partner
  • Cannot be in bad financial standing with the university

2. Postgraduate Taught Degree Tuition Fee Alumni Discount 2020/21

  • Program Level: Postgraduate
  • Value: 20% Discount
  • Nationality: UK/EU

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a final year undergraduate at the university applying for a postgraduate course at the university in the year 2020/21
  • Must have successfully completed an Honors Degree at the University
  • Must not belong to PGR (Postgraduate Research), professional qualifying courses, PGCE
  • Teacher Training3, Masters in Social Work3 and Masters in Nursing3
  • Must be in good financial standing with the university

How to apply in Postgraduate Taught Degree Tuition Fee Alumni Discount:

  1. Undergraduates will Fill this form.
  2. Alumni will fill the this form.
  3. You must provide proof of previous qualification form the University of Bedfordshire, DMU’s Bedford campus3, or the University of Luton
  4. The admissions team will confirm your eligibility before registration and guide you
  5. Finance team will apply the discount at registration

3. Foundation Year Bursary

  • Program Level: Undergraduate
  • Enrollment Date: February, September 2020

4. Level 5 Bursary

  • Value: £500
  • Bursary: (for students below 112 UCAS tariff points) £1,500
  • Duration: 2 years
  • Nationality: UK/EU

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be registered at Level 5 as a full time undergraduate enrolled in Bachelors course BA,BEng, LLB or similar
  • Be a new student from September 2019 for the academic year 2019/20
  • Must not have previously enrolled at the university
  • Must be a UK/EU student paying £9,250 of tuition fee
  • Must have completed all stages of financial processes that the sponsors might require
  • Cannot be an overseas or equivalent level fee payer
  • Cannot be studying with a university partner
  • Cannot be in bad financial standing with the university
  • Deferring study beyond 2020/21 start date

5. Sports Scholarship

  • Year: 2020/21
  • Deadline: 16 th October 2020, Friday
  • Nationality: Home, EU, International
  • Program Level: Undergraduate, postgraduate
  • Value: Different

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be of a regional, county, national, international standard
  • If not then. Must have played BUCS within last 12 months
  • Must have accepted for one of the University’s full time courses or must be already enrolled in a course

6. Care Leavers Bursary

This bursary for those who “open to care” and are supported by local authority leaving care service

Benefits:

  • Upon joining, you will be given clear information on services
  • There will be university accommodation which you can arrange all round stay for the duration of your course
  • You will receive £5,700 Care Levers Bursary

7. Postgraduate High Achiever Scholarship 2019/20

  • Year: 2019/20
  • Deadline: 16 th October 2020, Friday
  • Nationality: Home, EU
  • Program Level: Postgraduate
  • Value: 50% fee waiver

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a previous third year undergrad enrolling into a postgraduate course at the university
  • Can be part time and full time
  • 2nd and 3 rd year students are eligible provided they have a BA/BSc 1 st class degree
  • Research degree students are also offered this chance
  • Must progress from undergrad to post-grad without breaks in between
  • Commencement year must be 2019 September
  • Must sign Destination of Leavers of Higher Education Survey before closing date
  • Students must also complete a progression form
  • Is not available for BA, MSc Social Work, MSc Nursing courses or a Postgraduate
