This program will teach participants about the history of civic engagement in the U.S. They'll learn about active citizenship, community development, grassroots activism, and volunteerism. The fellowship will run from September 28 to October 30, 2024, and will be hosted by the University of Nebraska â Omaha and Portland State University.
This program will explore how environmental policy has influenced the economic and political development of the U.S. Participants will learn about climate change, sustainable development, food security, renewable energy, and water management.
They'll observe these issues from different perspectives, including grassroots activism, impacts on marginalized communities, private sector approaches, global efforts, and government policies. The fellowship will take place from August 21 to September 25, 2024, hosted by the University of Montana and the East-West Center.
This program will cover entrepreneurial approaches to addressing social and economic challenges. Participants will study trade, investment, financial literacy, microfinance, innovation, strategic planning, corporate social responsibility, and more. They'll meet with community leaders, entrepreneurs, and representatives of non-profit organizations.
