Benefits:Â
- 25,000 dollars per year for doctoral research scholarships.
- Maximum duration of three years (nine quarters) is allowable. An extension of up to an additional 12 months is also allowable (monthly allowance of $ 1,000).
- Short-term research or development grants: $ 3,000 per month.
- Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers: $ 35,000 for a single year.

Eligibility Criteria:
- If you are a doctoral student, you must already be accepted by Polytechnique Montréal and be in the first year of your program
- Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements by the closing date of the competition (a separate closing date will be announced for students selected by the CSC);
- Candidates must have been pre-selected by an academic institution or Synchronex (for CCTTs);
- CSC pre-selection is required for Québec-China scholarships;
- A candidate must not already have received an excellent scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Quebec (MEES), the Quebec Research Fund - Nature & Technology or the Quebec Research Fund - Society & Culture;
- The applicant must not be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- Applicants for permanent residence cannot have applied under Canadian immigration laws.
