Beyond Zero Scholarship has been announced by the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in collaboration with Beyond Zero which stands for a Certificate course in Community Health Nursing commencing March 2025 in the 2023/2025 academic year.

The Beyond Zero Scholarship, in collaboration with the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), opens doors for aspiring individuals to pursue a Certificate course in Community Health Nursing for the upcoming academic year in 2025.
To be eligible for the Beyond Zero Scholarship, candidates must have achieved a minimum grade of C or equivalent qualifications in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Specifically, a C grade is required in either English or Kiswahili, a C in Biology, and a D in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
As part of the application process, candidates are required to submit a concise essay of no more than 200 words. The essay should articulate why the applicant deserves the scholarship and outline the contributions they aim to make to their community upon graduation.
Priority consideration will be given to candidates from selected Arid and Semi-Arid (ASAL) counties, under-served minorities, and other Vulnerable and Marginalized Groups (VMGs) who express a commitment to serving their communities post-graduation.
All applications must reach the Chief Executive Officer, KMTC, by 26 February 2025. Successful applicants will enjoy a full scholarship for the entire two-year duration of the Community Health Nursing course.
