The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) in New Zealand is currently hiring for the Executive Director role for the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Lessons Learned from Aotearoa New Zealand's Response to COVID-19. DPMC Jobs are fixed-term or secondment roles that will run until June 2024. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and drive DPMC's, and the All-of-Government input for the Inquiry, with the goal of strengthening New Zealand's preparedness for, and response to, any future pandemic.
The Executive Director will be responsible for the direction and leadership of DPMC's interactions with the Royal Commission, its Chair, and Panel member. This role will shape and drive DPMC's, and the All-of-Government input, and will require the successful candidate to have existing executive public sector level stakeholder relationship management capabilities, ideally in an across-agency function.
