International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2024

The University of Sheffield will offer seventy-five International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships in 2024. These scholarships are competitive awards worth 10,000 Euros toward the tuition fee for an undergraduate degree program starting in autumn 2024. The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships are available for new international students who meet the eligibility criteria.

Applicants must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield before they apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria For International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2024

To be eligible for International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Your program must be due to start at the University of Sheffield in autumn 2024.
• You must have received an offer for a fully-studied course at the University of Sheffield. All undergraduate degree courses except Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200) are eligible.
• For tuition fees, you must be self-funded and eligible to pay overseas tuition fees.
• You must not be a sponsored student.
• You must enter a degree program at the University of Sheffield in program year 1 or year 2.
• For scholarship purposes, all MARCH programs are considered postgraduate taught programs and are not eligible for this or any other graduate scholarship.
• The University of Sheffield reserves the right to review and change scholarship provisions.

Selection Process For International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2024

The selection process is competitive and not all applicants will be successful. A group of senior members of staff will select the strongest applications and will be looking for the following:

• Applicant has given examples of achievements that represent excellence and initiative in educational, voluntary, or extra-curricular areas.
• Applicants have shown how these achievements relate to the course they have applied for at the University of Sheffield and connected that to their future ambitions.
• The applicant has a strong academic profile.
