The Madhya Pradesh Government, recognizing the challenges faced by SC and ST students, has introduced the MPTAAS Scholarship 2023-24 to foster higher education. This initiative also extends to OBC students who can now apply online for post-matric courses.

Eligibility Criteria for MPTAAS Scholarship 2023-24:

Students must be residents of Madhya Pradesh.
They should be enrolled in a recognized school/college in the state.
Applicants must fall into SC/ST or OBC categories.
Annual family income for SC/ST students should not exceed Rs. 5 lakhs.
Annual family income for OBC students should not exceed Rs. 3 lakhs.
SC/ST students with family income between Rs. 5 to 6 lakhs will receive 50% of the scholarship.
Children of government employees are not eligible.

How to Apply for the MPTAAS Scholarship 2023-24:

Previously, applications were accepted through the MP 2.0 portal. Now, a new registration website has been introduced.

Follow these steps for registration:

Visit www.tribal.mp.gov.in.
Click on "Beneficiary Profile Registration" under "Important Links."
Enter details such as Name, Date of Birth, Fatherâ€™s name, etc.
Fill in the address and contact information.
Enter caste certificate, religion, and disability information.
Save and proceed, enter Samagra ID, and click "Next."
Complete the fatherâ€™s occupation and income details.
Review the application, set a new password, and click "Submit."

Portal Login and Application:

Visit the MPTASS PMS Scholarship portal.
Click "Log in" (bottom right).
Enter username, password, and captcha, then press login.
Select PMS and "Apply Application."
Enter the required details (Type of application, admission year, course year, etc.) and
click "Go for Apply."
Fill in University details, and admission information, and click "Get Admission Details."
Enter income certificate details and click "Save and Next."
Review the form and click "Submit."
Select "Application Details" from the PMS menu for reference.
