SUSI Summer Exchange Program in the US is free of cost and a 100% Fully Funded Program. A study by the United States Institute for Student Leaders invites undergraduate students from Pakistan who are interested in comparative public policymaking to apply.

Applications are now open to apply for the Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Women and Men Leaders. On a case-by-case basis, the Institute could take place from late June to early August 2023 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Amherst.

The program will transition to a modified virtual format if health and safety conditions continue to pose significant challenges. There will be a high level of interaction, academics, and intensive learning. Participants with a strong sense of leadership, who are able to develop their skills, are sought by program sponsors.

About SUSI Summer Exchange:

The purpose of the U.S. Study Abroad for Student Leaders program is to provide groups of undergraduate student leaders with a better understanding of the United States, as well as to aid in improving their leadership abilities. The study of the United States institutes "SUSI" is a program for Undergraduate females and male students to study short-term academic courses at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. SUSI is one of the best opportunities for students to visit and study in the USA, that too free of cost!

There is No Need for IELTS or TOEFL. You Don’t need CGPA and Passport at the time of applying for the SUSI Summer Exchange Program 2022.

SUSI Summer Exchange Program is a 5 to 6 Week Cultural and Leadership Based Exchange Program for Pakistani Male & Female Students.

• Four weeks: Academic residency component.
• One Week: Study Tour.

The Institute will focus on two major fields:

1. leadership skills in areas such as critical thinking, communication, decision-making, and managerial abilities.
2. Placing these abilities in the context of history. politics, economics, culture, and society.

Eligibility Criteria of SUSI Summer Exchange Program:

• Female and Male Undergraduates Students.
• Currently enrolled in a public college/university or studying in a private institution.
• Applicants must not be US citizens or permanent residents in the United States English language proficiency.
• Students Enrolled in (2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th) of their 4 Year bachelor's degree Can Apply.
• Students Enrolled in (2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th) of their 5 Year Medical Degree Can Apply.
• Applicants should be between 18-25 years of age.
• At least one semester of their undergraduate studies.
• should be left to be completed after their return
• Be eligible for a J-1 Unites States visa
• Applicants must have no or very little prior experience in the United States.
• Note: Try Your Luck - those who are in their Final Semester.

SUSI Program Timeline:

The Deadline of the SUSI Program is 28 Oct 2022.

1. Interviews: Late December 2022 OR in the First Week of January Through Skype or Telephonic Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
2. Final Result: Late April or May 2023.
3. Travel to the US: In the Summer of 2023. From late June to early August 2023.
