With the WHO internships program, students and recent graduates can gain knowledge about the technical and administrative programs of WHO as well as gain valuable experience, knowledge, and the chance to participate in positive efforts to advance public health.
Essentially, the WHO Internships will establish a framework for assigning academically qualified students from diverse academic backgrounds to a variety of WHO programs, where they can build capacity in order to improve their educational experience.
A UN internship program and a UNICEF internship program also provide students with the possibility of working with mentors in their fields of focus.
About the WHO Internships Program:
There are a number of internship opportunities at the WHO in technical and administrative fields, including communications, external relations, and human resources.
Only a very small number of applicants at WHO are selected for internships every year, so please note the competition. Those selected for an internship will be notified. Applicants who were not selected for an internship position may apply again for other internship positions if they meet the eligibility requirements and are still interested.
