The applications are now invited to apply for World Forum for Democracy in France. This is a 10th world forum for Democracy and fully funded opportunity for youth. During this program participants will examine the factors contributing to democracy's decline, discuss how they can be addressed, and decide what kind of democratic future is desirable and feasible. The World Forum for Democracy was established in 2012 to promote democratic governance across the world through dialogue and innovation. It addresses key challenges in a unique way.
To find concrete solutions, we must take ground-breaking initiatives as a starting point, and foster dialogue between different stakeholders. In its own right, the Forum aims to give a voice to the people - demos - Taking part in political decision-making is their rightful place.
This promotes the development of democratic structures and institutions that are more participatory and inclusive, thereby contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 16.
