Eligibility Criteria of Chevening Scholarships in UK:

Chevening Scholarships 2023 are awarded to students who meet the following criteria:

1. Applicants must be citizens of one of the Chevening-eligible countries or territories.
2. After your award is finished, return home for at least two years.
3. By the time you submit your application, you should have completed all the requirements for an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry into a postgraduate program at a UK university. In the UK, this would be equivalent to a 2:1 upper-class honors degree.
4. A minimum of 2,800 hours of work experience is required.
5. Three eligible UK universities have offered unconditional acceptance to you after you applied to three of them

Experiences that qualify as work experience

It doesn't take the only professional experience to become a Chevening specialist. To qualify for the Chenery Scholarship, students must have worked for at least two years. Chevening applicants may have the following kinds of work experience:

1. Work on a full-time basis
2. Working part-time
3. Volunteering
4. Unpaid internships or paid internships

In order to meet the requirement for work experience, you do not need to work for a single employer. It is possible to submit up to ten different employment periods as part of the requirement.
