There's no doubt the entire continent of Europe is a wonderful place. In Europe, Austria is a great place to live, study, and travel. The summer program in Austria allows you to explore Austria and do research in the country. As part of IIASA's summer program, Ph.D. students can work on a project related to IIASA's research agenda.
The Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) at IIASA hosts up to 50 doctoral students each year from around the world from 1 June to 31 August.
Early career researchers can thrive in the dynamic and innovative environment provided by IIASA, and launch their careers in the field of applied systems analysis. In addition to challenging early career researchers to think outside the box, the systems we analyze at IIASA typically transcend traditional disciplinary and national boundaries.
There are other reasons why early career researchers choose IIASA. Now is the time to apply for the 2022 program (the closing date is midnight CEST on 14 January 2022). Result announcements will be made as early as 12 March 2022.
